Unique

I enjoyed the story and art of the cutscene, and the animation of the character, especially the horse.

Unfortunately, I'm colorblind, so the tree obstacles, in combination with the moving background and coloring, was basically impossible for me to duck under. I understand that you probably can't design a game with colorblind people in mind (although about 5% of all males are colorblind), but I was sad that it kinda was ruined for me. Of course, I didn't let that effect the rating.

Good stuff!

Well crafted game

This game had a gripping sense of atmosphere, between the music, the beginning cutscene, and the incredible sense of aloneness as you traversed the extensive map.

Great level design and an interesting take on a metroid game mechanic-- not having weapons made this pure platformer seem less like a blastathon, as some games have regrettably designated as their goal, and more of an enormous puzzle.

Again, I liked the music-- although it was repetitive and simple, it was certainly in keeping with the theme of the game; both the visuals and the music were simple, and they also both conveyed a sense of isolation. Well done!

Keep up the good work

I like to draw some, but am not nearly good enough to make any kind of actual animation; nor am I proficient in Flash. However, I have been a fan of Newgrounds animations and games for a while, and I know what is good and what is the suck.
